WARNER BROTHERS STUDIOS

This year for my birthday I decided to visit Warner Brother Studios. I’ve been on the lot before but that was for work, this time it was for fun, recreation and celebration. My BFF came to visit me all the way from the east coast. She was my first birthday present and taking the WB Studio tour was my second present. It was so much fun driving around on the tram and viewing all the different filming locations and sets. We toured the sets of tv shows All American and Bob Hearts Abiola. We also visited some outdoor set locations where shows like Young Sheldon and Abbot Elementary were filmed. We also got to see replicas of the Big Bang Theory set. I was so happy to walk down the stairs past the famous broken elevator. I also got to take pictures on the couch in Sheldon’s and Leonard’s apartment. I didn’t dare sit in Sheldon’s spot.

The highlight for me of course was visiting the studio where F.R.I.E.N.D.S. was shot. I’m still a huge fan of that show. We visited Monica’s and Rachel’s apartment where I took tons of photos and I also took a picture outside of Central Perk. I was all over that apartment. I could not get enough of it. I was in the kitchen hanging out at the table, then I made my way into the living room and looked out the balcony window. Of course, no “ugly naked guy” was there that time. I was like a kid in a candy store when I visited the Friends gift shop. I wanted to buy everything but managed to just get a set of coasters and a mug.

There were also props and replicas of famous movies that were also filmed and WB Studios. We saw the famous Bat-mobile and visited Harry’s bedroom from Harry Potter. I had an amazing birthday touring the WB Studios and learning the history of the studio lot and the brothers who started it. I can’t wait to visit again.
